I have PS3 a PC and about 20 games: Grid, GTAIV, COD 2 and 4, CoH, BAttlefield, Battleground #? and many more...etc. But I keep coming back to Total War and Med II. I have a twin 8800 GTX SLI w/ AMD 64 dualcore and built it just to play TW/M2 on my 50 inch Pioneer plasma TV... and I do mods of 245 men per unit for battles. I will soon build another new PC and go with nVidia GF GTX 9XXX SLI graphics. I don't think huge DDR mem helps any. Get the most GDDR you can, an SLI set up and fast HDD: mine's a 15000 R/M deal. Buy the biggest case you can with easy slide type slots for your DVD/CD RW and at least a 2.4 GHTZ clocked CPU. I have been playing TW for years and still can't get over the vastness and beauty of some of my battles...with each side having at least 4800 troops and sometimes much more. I am eagerly awaiting Empires, do my own modding and , as you can tell can't say enough praise for the TW game series. The best...by far. (Period) I agree Total War Medieval II is the best game ever.
